The food at Ethnic Sabah appears simple but it is worth to all of us to come and try the Sabah traditional food at Grace Court is located along Jalan Pantai Sembulan in Kampung Sembulan Baru, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
We would like to share some picture of food that we have tried,

Ethnic Sabah is known best for the cheap and affordable and also the best traditional foods with difference type of dish. Let’s start with first Sabah traditional food and it is “Ambuyat”. “Ambuyat” is a dish derived from the interior trunk of the sago palm. It is a starchy bland substance, similar to tapioca starch. “Ambuyat” eaten with a fork bamboo called chandas, with eyes rolling around starch fork and then dip it in the sauce with combination of three others type of Sabah traditional food such as sup ampap, ikan ampap and bambangan.
When you take a look at the picture of sup ampap, you may think it is just a simple sup, but when you try, it’s a bit sour because it is made with two combinations of tomato and tamarind. Next, is Hivana. Hivana is made with a combination of fish, bitter gourd, chilli, ginger, shallots and lemon. This place is suitable during lunch time and the place give a new experience to people to try exotic food especially the first time to try traditional sabahan foods.
